Trent Hamdjah is the founder of Kawa Lymph Soma, a practice dedicated to holistic remedial therapy, lymphatic health, and integrated bodywork.
With years of clinical experience, he has worked with thousands of clients experiencing chronic pain, stress, and movement restrictions. Through this work, a clear pattern emerged — the body rarely struggles from a single issue. Instead, muscular tension, lymphatic flow, nervous system responses, and movement patterns are deeply interconnected.
This understanding led to the development of the Kawa approach: an integrated method that combines myotherapy, lymphatic drainage, and nervous system-based care to support the body’s natural ability to restore balance and function.
Over time, many clients began to report not only physical relief, but also a noticeable sense of energetic shift, deep relaxation, and emotional release during hands-on treatments. These experiences naturally guided Trent to further explore and formally integrate energy-based practices such as Reiki alongside clinical techniques.
Today, his work bridges both clinical and holistic perspectives — combining remedial therapy, fascia and lymphatic work, mindful movement, and energy-based practices to create a treatment experience that supports both physical recovery and nervous system regulation.
Outside the clinic, Trent enjoys time in nature, river walks, mindful movement practices, and ongoing exploration of both modern and traditional healing systems that continue to shape the evolving Kawa Method.
The Kawa Philosophy
Inspired by the flow of a river, the Kawa Philosophy represents movement, balance, and the continuous nature of healing.
In Japanese philosophy, the river symbolises life’s constant evolution. It does not force its way forward, but adapts, flows around obstacles, and gradually reshapes its environment through steady movement.
In the same way, the body functions best when its systems are allowed to work in harmony. Rather than forcing change, the Kawa approach supports the body’s natural rhythms to restore balance, resilience, and flow.
The Kawa Method
The Kawa Lymph Soma Method is based on the understanding that the body operates as an interconnected system, where the nervous system, fascia, lymphatic circulation, and movement continuously influence one another.
Each session follows a structured yet adaptable process:
Regulate → Release → Circulate → Integrate
• Regulate the nervous system
• Release muscular and fascial tension
• Support lymphatic circulation
• Integrate through movement and awareness
This approach allows the body to return to a state of natural function, rather than relying on isolated or temporary solutions.
The Six Pillars
The Kawa Method is guided by six key pillars that support the body’s natural balance and adaptability:
• Awareness, Breath & Posture
• Mindful Movement
• Nervous System Regulation
• Lymphatic System Wellness
• Myofascial Health
• Structural Integrity
These elements work together like currents within a river, influencing circulation, mobility, and overall wellbeing.
Why This Approach Works
The body does not function in separate parts. When one system becomes restricted, it can affect the whole.
By addressing the body through an integrated approach, the Kawa Method supports long-term change, improved function, and a greater sense of ease within the body.
Health emerges not from force, but from restoring the body’s ability to flow.
